BlackTieEventPhotos.com are professional event photography covering Essex and the counties of Southern England and have amassed nearly a decade of experience photographing Freemasons Masonic Ladies Festival Dinners, Masonic Ladies Festival Weekends and Masonic Ladies Nights.

As dedicated event photographers, we are commissioned by Freemasons Lodges to attend their Masonic Ladies Festivals and Masonic Ladies Night Dinners across many southern and home counties including  Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Northants, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire,  BedfordshireEssex including Southend, Chigwell, Chingford, Harlow, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Romford.

Popular venues for us are Southend’s Masonic Saxon Hall, the Southend Cliff Pavillion and Southend Park Inn

Our coverage map lower down this page shows the area that we cover but for many regular Masonic Lodges we often travel to adjoining counties, particularly when they organise a Masonic Ladies Festival Weekend on the East or South Coast, in an Historic City Centre Hotel or a Country House retreat.

Don’t just take our word for the quality of our service:

“You were amazing and yes they loved it!
Thank you very much we were really happy
with your set up and photography skills.
I will recommend you to everyone.”

How can we enhance your Ladies Night?

We produce studio quality portrait photographs which, with our modern on-site dye sublimation printer, take just seconds to print so your guests can take their photos home with them – we will happily email the digital copy of those that they purchase too.   Click through to our Masonic Ladies Festival Gallery where you’ll find some examples from previous Ladies Nights to give you a taste for what we can deliver.

We always arrive around and hour in advance of your guests and our first task is to identify a suitable backdrop in your venue (perhaps a nice feature fireplace or some drapes) where to set up base – preferably close to the drinks reception area. Just in case there is nothing suitable we always carry an attractive cloth studio backdrop and studio lights. If  your event in the Spring or Summer we very often take the photos outside.   Our aim is to provide a great photo that will grace your mantle piece.

As guests arrive we will photograph couples and family groups in all of their finery, then whilst you dine and have the speeches, we will edit and print them so that your guests can view them immediately after the formalities of the evening.  This his approach works well for us and for the hosts, preferring not to follow the system adopted by other photographers that print and sell immediately the photos have been taken – we believe this to be too high pressure and at a time when guests should be catching up with friends at the reception.

Helpful Hints – things to consider before engaging a Photographer

As we remain until quite late in the evening, if any guests missed out on having their arrival photo or would like a group photo with friends, we will happily take one after dinner.

Depending upon the format of your night, the number of attendees and the availability of space at the venue, when the meal is over we can make introduce our mini studio*.  This gives guests the opportunity to have a bit of fun particularly when guests spot our props box with feather boas and hats. Everyone likes the excuse to dress up – particularly the men it has been noticed!

*only possible when space has been allocated for a mini studio to take the arrival photos.

What size of photographs do we print?

With our modern dye sublimation printers we can deliver high quality 6″ x 8″ photographs in a around 30 seconds. We often also include a title commemorating your particular Ladies Festival. All photographs are provided in quality black card strut mounts and a clear bag to keep them clean.

How much do we charge organisers?

Generally we will attend your Ladies Festival for FREE* relying on guests purchasing photographs.

*For numbers under 80 attendees we generally require to charge an attendance fee – sorry but we cannot generally provide our services if your numbers are not at least 60 but do gives a call.

Another option for smaller gatherings and avoiding our attendance fee is for us to provide each couple with a photo by way of the Ladies Festival gift

We do not require a booking fee but if you cancel our services within 30 days of the original date of your event we shall charge a fee of £150.

Have you decided on your Ladies Festival gifts?

If you are short of ideas as what to provide as Ladies Night gifts, how about commissioning us to provide each lady (couple) with a souvenir photograph.  As we generally take a least two photos of each couple they can have a choice too.   As with all our photographs they will be supplied in a card mount unless you decide to have us mount them in a frame.

Another option is for you to pay for us to provide the guests’ second photo for free.  Recently used this format at a Ladies Night and the guests really appreciated the generosity of the Host.

Do we cover your area?

We provide Ladies Festival Photography throughout the South East of England including Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Dorset, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex and Wiltshire.  The map below and our event coverage page show our normal geographic coverage but of course for special events we will consider travelling further afield.
